Rahmijati Jahja Partners with Gorontalo Regency IDI to Hold Mass Circumcision and Blood Donation Community Service

Gorontalo, dpd.go.id – Member of the DPD RI representing the Gorontalo Electoral District, Hj. Rahmijati Jahja, in collaboration with the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) of Gorontalo Regency, organized a community service event featuring mass circumcision and blood donation at the Pilohayanga Community Health Center (Puskesmas), Gorontalo Regency, on Sunday (26/7/2026). The activity was a form of concern for improving health services while fostering a spirit of mutual cooperation and humanity among the community.

The event was attended by dozens of mass circumcision participants, blood donors, healthcare workers, and local residents. In addition to providing free healthcare services, this event served as a means to strengthen collaboration between the DPD RI, professional organizations, and local government in enhancing public health quality.

Rahmijati Jahja stated that the community service activity is a concrete manifestation of care for the public, particularly in assisting families in need of access to healthcare services.

"Health is a basic need for the community. Through this mass circumcision and blood donation activity, we want to deliver direct benefits that can be felt by the public while nurturing a spirit of concern and social solidarity," said Rahmijati Jahja.

She appreciated the synergy established with IDI Gorontalo Regency and all healthcare personnel who participated in making the event a success. According to her, cross-sector collaboration is key to delivering services that are closer and more beneficial to the community.

"I express my gratitude to IDI Gorontalo Regency, medical personnel, and all parties who contributed. Hopefully, activities like this can continue to be carried out sustainably so that even more people can feel the benefits," she added.

Through this community service event, Rahmijati Jahja hopes that public health awareness will continue to grow and further strengthen collaboration between the government, professional organizations, and all elements of society in realizing quality and easily accessible healthcare services.
