Teh Aanya Highlight the Establishment of Banjar Toll Exit for South West Java in Support of Prabowo's PSN

dpd.go.id - Aanya Rina Casmayanti, a member of Committee I of the House of Regional Representative of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) from West Java, expressed her full support for the National Strategic Projects (PSN) under President Prabowo Subianto, which placed West Java as the province receiving the most infrastructure projects. However, the senator placed one strategic request: the construction of a toll exit in Banjar City.

The statement followed the issuance of Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Regulation No. 16 of 2025, which details 35 new national priority toll roads. West Java holds the largest share, including the Getaci Toll Road (Gedebage–Tasikmalaya–Cilacap), the Ciawi–Sukabumi–Ciranjang–Padalarang Toll Road, and the development of inner-city toll roads in Bandung through the North-South Link and the Central Java-Indonesian Highway (BIUTR).

Aanya assessed that Prabowo's National Strategic Project (PSN) was a major leap forward for West Java's connectivity, but emphasized that its benefits must reach border areas that have been marginalized in terms of infrastructure.

"We fully support this National Strategic Project (PSN). However, we also request that Banjar City receive serious attention through the construction of a toll exit directly connected to the city center," Aanya told reporters by phone on Tuesday (16/6/2026).

She believes Banjar enjoys a strategic geographic position as the gateway to Central Java from West Java and a hub connecting the East Priangan region—Ciamis, Pangandaran, and Tasikmalaya. Without a toll exit in Banjar City, economic and logistical flows from the Getaci Toll Road could potentially simply flow through the region without significantly impacting the local community.

"Banjar City is the gateway between West Java and Central Java. If the Getaci Toll Road doesn't have an exit in Banjar City, local residents and businesses will be mere spectators. We don't want national development to pass us by without ensuring the welfare of Banjar City residents," she stressed.

Aanya also highlighted Banjar City's potential as a regional distribution hub, which has been underdeveloped due to limited accessibility and connectivity. The toll exit is expected to directly stimulate investment, create jobs, and strengthen Banjar's role as a strategic economic transit city in Java's southern corridor.

The following is a complete list of 13 new toll road sections in West Java that are included in the Prabowo Subianto administration's National Strategic Projects (PSN):

  1. Ciawi - Sukabumi - Ciranjang - Padalarang Toll Road (West Java)
  2. Serpong - Cinere Toll Road (Banten and West Java)
  3. Cinere - Jagorawi Toll Road (DKI Jakarta and West Java)
  4. Cimanggis - Cibitung Toll Road (West Java)
  5. Cibitung - Cilincing Toll Road (DKI Jakarta and West Java)
  6. Bekasi - Cawang - Kampung Melayu Toll Road (DKI Jakarta and West Java)
  7. Jakarta - Cikampek II Toll Road South Side (DKI Jakarta and West Java)
  8. Depok - Antasari Toll Road (including Bojonggede - Salabenda) West Java Province
  9. Bogor Ring Road Toll Road (including Caringin - Salabenda) West Java Province
  10. Patimban Port Access Toll Road (West Java)
  11. Gedebage - Tasikmalaya - Cilacap Toll Road (West Java Province and Central Java Province)
  12. Cileunyi - Sumedang - Dawuan Toll Road (West Java)
  13. Development of Bandung Inner City Toll Roads: a. North-South Link Bandung; and b. Bandung Inter-Urban Toll Road (West Java Province)

As a member of Committee I of the DPD RI which oversees regional government and regional autonomy, Aanya emphasized that she will oversee the realization of the West Java National Strategic Project (PSN) so that it does not stop on paper regulations.

"The benefits of the National Strategic Project (PSN) must truly be felt by the community, even in areas that have previously been underdeveloped. Banjar is one area that must be prioritized," she concluded.
