GKR Hemas Honored with Dwipantara Wira Anugerah for Her Dedication to Strengthening Regional Autonomy

Jakarta, dpd.go.id – Vice Speaker of the House of Regional Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) GKR Hemas has been honored with the Dwipantara Wira Anugerah in the category of Women Politicians Advocating Regional Autonomy. The prestigious award, initiated by Aliansi Nusantara, recognizes her longstanding dedication, contributions, and service to supporting national development.

GKR Hemas expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the award. She said she hoped that Aliansi Nusantara and DPD RI could continue working together to find solutions that serve the interests of Indonesia’s regions.

“I am grateful to Aliansi Nusantara for this award and for its nine years of collaboration in helping improve the performance of DPD RI. I certainly hope that this cooperation can continue to support and oversee the implementation of DPD RI’s responsibilities,” GKR Hemas said during a visit by Aliansi Nusantara at Nusantara III, Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Wednesday (August 5, 2026).

GKR Hemas also encouraged Aliansi Nusantara to continue developing strategic programs and innovations that can strengthen the institutional presence and role of DPD RI.

“Going forward, the Alliance should develop programs that can further enhance the reputation of DPD RI. We also hope for the full support of our colleagues at Aliansi Nusantara so that we can continue working together in carrying out our constitutional responsibilities,” she added.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Aliansi Nusantara Budiman Soelaim expressed his pride in GKR Hemas for accepting the award despite her busy schedule. He explained that the award was presented as part of Aliansi Nusantara’s ninth anniversary celebrations, which also featured various social activities, including blood donation drives and the distribution of assistance to schools.

“We are deeply moved and proud that GKR Hemas took the time to be with us. We presented this award based on her track record and tangible dedication to society, which she has consistently demonstrated since 2004,” Budiman Soelaim said.

Budiman added that Aliansi Nusantara is ready to expand its synergy with DPD RI through various concrete programs across the regions.

“We currently have programs operating in 28 regions through regular discussion forums held at regional representative offices. This presents a great opportunity to further bring DPD RI closer to the public and raise awareness of its role among broader segments of society,” he concluded.
