DPD RI Distributes 1,626 Eid al-Fitr 1447 H Gift Packages to Employees and Support Staff, and Provides Donations for Orphans

JAKARTA, dpd.go.id – The Secretariat-General of The House of Regional Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI), through the Indonesian Civil Servant Corps (KORPRI), distributed 1,626 Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri gifts to officials, employees, and support staff within the DPD Secretariat General. On the same occasion, donations were also given to orphans. The event took place at the DPD Secretariat General on Thursday (5/3/2026).

The Secretary General of the DPD RI and Advisor to the KORPRI Secretariat General of the DPD RI, H. Mohammad Iqbal, said that the activity was a manifestation of the concern and togetherness of the extended family of the DPD RI Secretariat General in welcoming Eid al-Fitr in the holy month of Ramadan.

According to him, Ramadan is not only a momentum to improve the quality of worship, but also to strengthen the values of togetherness, care, and solidarity in the workplace.

"The gift packages are not solely seen for their material value, but as a form of attention and togetherness, as well as an effort to strengthen the bonds of friendship among the entire extended family of the Secretariat General of the DPD RI," said Iqbal.

He also expressed his appreciation to all employees for their dedication and devotion in supporting the implementation of institutional tasks.

"On behalf of the leadership and all officials within the Secretariat General of DPD RI, I express my gratitude to all employees who have worked with full dedication. I hope this togetherness will further strengthen our spirit in providing the best possible service to the institution," he added.

Meanwhile, Oni Choiruddin, Deputy for Assembly of the Secretariat General of DPD RI and Chair of KORPRI of the Secretariat General of DPD RI, emphasized that KORPRI plays a crucial role in improving the welfare of its members and their families. Through various organizational programs and activities, KORPRI is expected to provide tangible benefits to its employees, both in terms of welfare and in strengthening solidarity among its members.

According to him, KORPRI is also expected to continue to maintain harmonious relationships among all members so as to create a conducive working atmosphere, mutual support, and strengthen the sense of togetherness within the DPD RI General Secretariat environment.

"Through activities like this, we want to strengthen togetherness and concern among all KORPRI members, so that the spirit of kinship within the DPD RI Secretariat can be maintained," said Oni.

In order to welcome the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah, KORPRI Secretariat General of the DPD RI distributed holiday gifts in the form of shopping vouchers to employees and support staff. The total number of gifts distributed was 1,626 vouchers, with details of 1,408 vouchers given to officials and employees of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS), and Non-Civil Servant Government Employees (PPNPN), and 218 vouchers given to support staff who have been helping the smooth implementation of duties within the Secretariat General of the DPD RI.
