DPD RI Committee IV's Working Visit to Monitor and Support the Implementation of the 2026 Economic Census in Southeast Sulawesi

Kendari, dpd.go.id – Member of Committee IV of the DPD RI, Ms. Leni Andriani Surunuddin, B.Bus., M.Com, conducted a working visit to the BPS of Southeast Sulawesi Province during the recess period to conduct supervision with a focus on the readiness of the 2026 Economic Census.

The meeting discussed various important aspects of the economic census implementation, including human resource readiness, infrastructure support, information technology systems, and stakeholder coordination. The visit also served as a forum for discussion to identify potential challenges in the census implementation in Southeast Sulawesi.

As a member of Committee IV of the DPD RI, Ms. Leni emphasized the importance of supervising the implementation of national statistics so that the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census runs optimally, produces accurate, high-quality data, and can serve as a basis for formulating regional and national development policies.

She further said, "On-target development must be supported by accurate, complete, and reliable data. One of the strategic data sources is the 2026 economic census conducted by the Central Statistics Agency." Therefore, I invite all the people of Southeast Sulawesi to support the implementation of the 2026 economic census. Let's welcome the census officers warmly and provide correct, complete, and honest information. Let's make the 2026 economic census a success. Together, we can record the Indonesian economy.
