From PNM, Hussein, Head of the Business Capacity Development Division (PKU) was present; and Tatang Sefi Setyono, Head of PNM Surabaya Branch on June 19, 2026.
Ahmad Nawardi emphasized that PNM plays a strategic role in expanding access to financing for ultra-micro businesses, particularly productive, underprivileged women. "Ultra-micro financing programs must have a tangible impact on increasing family income, reducing poverty, and strengthening regional MSMEs. PNM needs to ensure the quality of mentoring and the sustainability of customers' businesses," he stressed.

We also encourage business digitalization through online marketing training, cashless payments, and the use of digital platforms," Hussein said.
Surabaya Branch Manager, Tatang Sefi Setyono, outlined the development of PNM's financing distribution in East Java, including the increase in the number of Mekaar groups and the distribution of business sectors financed. "We continue to expand our service reach and strengthen coordination with local governments to ensure the sustainability of our customers' businesses. Cross-sector synergy is a crucial factor in creating an integrated MSME empowerment ecosystem," Tatang explained.
Committee IV of the DPD RI affirmed its commitment to developing policy recommendations to strengthen ultra-micro financing programs, increase financial inclusion, and accelerate regional economic growth. This working visit provides a crucial opportunity to ensure that the National Microfinance Program (PNM) program delivers a tangible impact on the community.
