Banten, dpd.go.id - Member of the DPD RI of Banten Province, Ade Yuliasih, invited the younger generation to strengthen the spirit of Civic Leadership through the HARLAH PMII event with the theme 'CIVIC LEADERSHIP TALKS' held by the PKC PMII Banten in the hall of the Nahdatul Ulama Regional Management of Banten Province on Monday (11/05/2026).

In her presentation, Ade Yuliasih emphasized that the younger generation plays a crucial role in maintaining national unity amidst technological advancements and the rapid flow of digital information. Through Civic Leadership, the younger generation is expected to be oriented towards the public interest and national progress.

"The younger generation must be capable of becoming agents of change, embodying social responsibility, democracy, participation, and active contributions to their communities. Civic leadership needs to be cultivated from an early age to produce leaders who care about the nation and state."

Ade encouraged participants to develop a visionary mindset and prepare themselves for future challenges. She believes the younger generation needs to develop a mindset that is oriented toward readiness for various future possibilities.

"We must think about what will happen next, not what will happen next. By thinking 'what will happen next,' you are already preparing for future challenges and preparing yourself to face them," said Ade

On the occasion, Ade Yuliasih also emphasized the importance of combining faith, knowledge, and patriotism as the foundation of leadership for the younger generation. "When faith ignites and knowledge combines with patriotism, young people who can lead the change are born, those are young people with integrity for a dignified Indonesia," she concluded.
