Ade Yuliasih Calls for Stronger Synergy to Safeguard Security Stability and Social Resilience in Banten

dpd.go.id – Senator Ade Yuliasih, The House of Regional Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) member representing Banten Province, emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration among the legislature, government institutions, law enforcement agencies, and all stakeholders to maintain public security, social order, and social resilience across Banten Province. She made the remarks during a recess visit to the Banten Regional Police Headquarters (Polda Banten) in Cipocok Jaya, Serang City, on Wednesday (July 22, 2026).

According to Ade Yuliasih, Banten's strategic geographical location, bordering several neighboring provinces, presents unique challenges in maintaining security and stability. She stressed that issues such as crime and drug abuse require coordinated efforts involving all sectors of society.

"Public security and order are not solely the responsibility of law enforcement agencies. The government, state institutions, religious leaders, and the community must work together so that challenges facing our region can be addressed collectively," Ade said.

She also highlighted the high incidence of sexual violence cases in Pandeglang and Lebak Regencies, underscoring the need to strengthen preventive measures through closer coordination with Islamic scholars, community leaders, and relevant government agencies.

"Preventing sexual violence cannot be achieved by a single institution alone. It requires public education, the reinforcement of moral values, and close collaboration with religious leaders and all stakeholders to ensure better protection for our communities," she said.

In addition, Ade Yuliasih announced plans to strengthen coordination with the Ministry of Religious Affairs to address various social issues, including the high divorce rate, as part of broader efforts to reinforce family resilience.

"Strong families are the foundation of a harmonious society. Therefore, issues such as the rising divorce rate deserve our collective attention through collaboration between the government, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and all elements of society," she concluded.

During the meeting, the Banten Regional Police also presented six priority programs designed to promote public security, social order, and community welfare. These include DIMTAQ (Discipline, Faith, and Piety), PECAK (Rapid Police Response), Suling–Jumling–Minggu Kasih (Mobile Dawn Patrol, Friday Community Outreach, and Sunday Outreach Program), WARBIN (Community Police Posts), POLIRAN (Police for Unemployment Assistance), and POLDIK (Police for Education). The initiatives are expected to strengthen cooperation between the police, government, and local communities in supporting sustainable development throughout Banten Province.
